Sprummer

Good morning! Welcome to Sprummer...

The time following a lost Spring but when it is not quite Summer yet.

How can we make the most of these moments? What challenges have you faced and conquered? Perhaps you do not need to conquer your time. Try to flow with it instead. Let go of what you cant control. Relieve the pressure of your child taking on too many after school activities in the past.

Make plans for the near future, whereby you don't have to compete and your child doesn't have to take on as much. You and they can focus on what is truly important. Learning together, exercising together. Having fun!

The old expression has never been more true: " If you have your health, you have everything!"

Can you travel this summer? Take a road trip? Many cities have reopened, even if slowly..

Locally, the NJ state and local parks have reopened. Go early to avoid larger crowds, but do not avoid socializing. Keeping a physical distance does NOT mean keeping a social distance. For many, this line is blurred and I have personally seen people in the store looking cross eyed at one another, judging if they are wearing their masks properly. If everyone tries to to the right things by themselves and each other, there is no reason to worry.

Continue to both cook at home and order take out to support local businesses. Local (ish) catering companies such as B&M Food Market, https://bmfoodlovers.com/ 201-391-4373, in nearby Park Ridge, NJ provides delicious made to order meals. They offer friendly curb side pick up, as well as in store ordering. They are following health guidelines in allowing only 3 customers in the store at a time. B&M is a great choice for all of your party and catering needs. Having a summer bbqe at home? Birthday party with family? B&M offers gourmet meats as well as comfort foods like homemade chicken soup! Literally everything from "soup to nuts." Order ahead from their extensive website or visit in person. Owner Jonathan Goldstein and his staff are always there to welcome you with a smile and top notch service!

Many local day camps and outdoor sports programs, will be starting. Check back here soon for a full list, or visit our facebook page for regular updates, https://www.facebook.com/Macaroni-Kid-North-West-Bergen-County-NJ-121358855929911/

Have a wonderful day!

Thank you, Elisa
