Still one of the Sweetest Places on Earth!

By Elisa Posniack, Macaroni Kid -North West Bergen County Publisher February 7, 2022

Milton Hershey created an entire town, practically from "scratch" ( no pun toward baking chocolate intended). A town and community that was based on values and strong work ethics. Along with his beloved wife Catherine(kitty), they built a chocolate/business empire!

For many years and into the current day, Hershey, PA is a favorite tourist/travel location. There is so much to do, you can stay for days. Within 3 hours of the NY metro areas, Hershey, PA has a huge amusement park, expansive gardens, a luxurious Hershey Hotel and/or Lodge and of course, The Hershey Museum!

You will want to give yourself 2-3 hours to take a complete tour of this fascinating, interactive museum. Leave more time to shop for gifts for yourself and loved ones. Who doesn't love chocolate? The gift shop has something for everyone and following all safety measures, visiting the Hershey Museum is a must for your upcoming travel "to-do" list!
