Food choices are plentiful! Everything from whole pizza pies and gourmet sandwiches to a lavish breakfast buffet. The amazing new fine dining location, Fireside, is not to be missed!
GWL in the Poconos has a seasonal, outdoor ropes course that is just the right amount of height and challenge. You can splurge on the Wolf Pass which includes many of the onsite activities. The Tree Ropes is additional but well worth it at $19.99. You can take your time to complete the course.

Speaking of being magical, GWL has the famous MagiQuest which is an experience in itself! Children love to run around trying to find the hidden treasure objects all around the lodge. Parents can buy a wand or add it to a water park package/visit. The wand is good for the entire stay and is theirs to keep! You can bring it back on another visit. Makes a great costume accessory as well, especially during this Halloween season!
I find it to be so much fun and exciting to watch children, their friends, AND parents at times, delve into this special activity. Who doesn't like mystery and treasure hunting? Who couldn't use some MAGIC in their lives nowadays?!

The seasonal outdoor pool is amazing and looks and feels like a spa-cation destination! Outdoor cabanas are the way to go if you want to take advantage of the full spa-like experience. They also have brand new outdoor fire pits to keep you warm on the cool and crisp Pocono nights!
Woodland Villas
The recent addition of the Woodland Villas only serves to make Great Wolf Lodge more exciting to visit. You can rent a villa with extended family and friends for a special vacation. The villas are on site but feel completely disconnected from the noise and the waterpark. The Villas are a great balance when you are seeking serenity but proximity to all of the fun and events GWL has to offer. The Villas and the lounge are the design brainchild of Nate Berkus. True to form, they represent all of the earth elements which GWL is known for.
On a recent visit, I had the chance to meet Nate and he is kind and as real as they come. All of the staff and "pack" are so friendly and accommodating. Although I visited/stayed as a member of the media, all of the opinions are my own.
