7 Best Bathrooms in Bergen

We all know how important this is!!

By Elisa Posniack- Macaroni Kid NW Bergen County NJ Publisher March 11, 2024

Admit it, you try and remember which stores, cafes and kid places have the best, cleanest bathrooms. I know I do!

Actually even if you don't try hard, something goes into the subconscious adult/parent brain to register this very important detail!

Thoughts to self:

Is it clean? Is it a single or multi-stall bathroom? Can I change my baby's diaper in there? Is there a family bathroom? Are there paper towels vs just the hand dryer? The list goes on and on.....

What else do YOU think of when looking for and remembering the best bathrooms in your town? Let us know!

While it is easy to recall which bathrooms are the ones you would NOT want to use, I prefer to focus on the positive.

Here is my top 7 list of Best Bathrooms in NW Bergen County:

1) Trader Joe's in Paramus (they actually use their own herbal hand soap!)

2) Kohl's in Ramsey (light and bright, multiple stalls to choose from)

3) Uncle Guiseppe's in Ramsey (in case you are into listening to music at the same time- they pump in some beautiful Italian music!)

4) Acme in Mahwah (love the automatic hand dryer built into the sink)

5) Shoprite in Wyckoff (modern tiles and colors- Located in the front of the store to the right when you walk in) * A pleasant change from the usual walk to the back of the store, especially when you have a screaming child or you just cannot wait!

6) Primo Hoagies in Allendale (Brand new location- light and bright, super clean)

7) Glen Rock Library (This is actually one of the nicest bathrooms I have seen in a library, maybe EVER!- It may have only 2 stalls, but it is super clean with automatic soap dispensers and both foot and elbow pulls to open the main door.)

*Next time you are shopping or visiting one of the LOCAL businesses/libraries, feel free to take a "bathroom break." *
