Recently I had the wonderful opportunity to visit a brand new concept in entertainment. Conveniently located inside the Paramus Park Mall is "The Movie House." While is not an actual house, you WILL feel quite at HOME once you visit!
Movie House is a very unique concept that will run throughout the summer. In the fall the same creators of the Movie House open the Halloween House and soon after, The Christmas House.
If you are a movie lover of any age, you will greatly enjoy the fully immersive experience of being able to visit Top Gun in one room and Harry Potter in the next. There are 10 theme rooms, one of which includes a full size movie screen and lawn chairs to simulate being in the park watching an outdoor movie. We "watched" Spiderman on the big screen prior to stepping into the "Blockbuster" room. The Gen X crowd will love that one!
Real memorabilia from each movie, thematic throughout, hands on and completely touch friendly. Therefore, a great experience for kids who do not have to hear "dont touch this, dont touch that..."
Located at the West Entrance, The Movie House prices are reasonable and no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. They have specials on their site and it will only run through the summer so get there soon!
The Movie House makes a great date night as well. Please note that some people may be light sensitive or sensitive to quick changes from room to room. The average time to allot is 1 hour but the staff and management are very accommodating and do not rush you through the experience. Take your time and see movies from the 50's to today and experience every genre there is.
