This past week I had the unique opportunity to join thousands of food lovers from all over the NW Bergen County area and beyond for Dining Out NJ's 3rd annual Foodie Expo! Held once again at the beautiful Terrace at Biagio's in Paramus, NJ, this event did not disappoint!
No taste bud was left out, every palate satisfied and then some! From World Flats to Eddie V's Prime Steakhouse to everything in between! There was no room for dessert. Who am I kidding? There is ALWAYS room for dessert. Enter Calandra's Bakery! There was so much dessert and you know what they say? "Life is short..." YES we had dessert before, during, and after trying some of the most amazing dish creations!
Italian, Vegan, Pan Asian, Greek, Indian cuisine sampling. After a while, I had to sit down and take a break. Of course that was until the coolest DJ started playing the best of classic disco and 80s and 90s funk! Hip Hop Hooray ohhh ayyy...
I don't know how I mustered either the courage or the energy to dance but some how I found the strength! Great way to burn calories.
Everyone was happy and friendly, the way it should be. After all, how can you not be happy eating delicious food, sampling saki, fine wine, fancy fruit and sweets! I threw in that part about fruit, in honor of Produce Pete who I had the honor of meeting during this great Dining Out NJ Foodie Expo!
A great night out for friends, couples and families alike. A great way to raise money for a wonderful children's charity as well.
